Richfield Light Parade

Welcome to one of Richfield's favorite Christmas traditions! Here, businesses, organizations, and families get to decorate a float, truck, or vehicle of their choice with Christmas lights and parade down Main Street.

Here are a couple ground rules and suggestions....

• If you want your name to be seen by spectators, you should also design your float in such a way as to illuminate letters, logos, etc.

•ABSOLUTELY NO ITEMS CAN BE THROWN or distributed in any manner from parade entry along the parade route. 

• The committee reserves the right to review and limit entries for appropriateness. This is a family oriented parade and we expect to always exhibit that theme. 

• We reserve a place for Santa on the Coca Cola truck at the end of the parade. So that young children are not confused by “multiple” Santa's--please decorate your entry with other festive ideas. 

This year we will be doing an entry contest. The Chamber board will award first, second, and third place prizes. First place will receive a festive trophy and $150, second place will receive $100, and third place will receive $75. So get creative, register, and we will see you on Dec. 2nd.
